Fox News host Tucker Carlson may have said some terrible things but, don't worry, he followed it up with a terrible apology.
During interviews on Bubba The Love Sponge, Carlson said he “love[s]” the idea of young girls sexually experimenting, used sexist terms to refer to a number of women, and defended statutory rape
Talking about underage girls and sex, and minimizing and defending statutory rape
Diminishing sexual violence/laughing about violence against women
Sexism against specific women
Sexism against unnamed women
Carlson: “We have no background on it at all, and not even any very informed questions. Instead, we've invited Congressman Gaetz on the show”
TUCKER CARLSON (HOST): Just a couple of hours ago late this afternoon, the New York Times ran a story saying that Florida congressman Matt Gaetz is under federal investigation for playing some role in sex trafficking, and potentially having a relationship with a 17-year-old girl.
There are very few details in major news outlets tonight about this story. We have no background on it at all, and not even any very informed questions. Instead, we've invited Congressman Gaetz on the show to respond to these stories and give us his view of them.
The Department of Justice is reportedly investigating Gaetz for sex trafficking, but Fox is still aiming its ire at its favorite target, Ocasio-Cortez
