What is more shocking and more of an external - perceived - threat or an opportunity for exploration and advancement than actual UFO's?

If people truly believe that we have visitors (after an adjustment period of maybe one day or one week, given our news cycle) then we, as a species, will accept that "we are not alone in the universe". This will help break divisions in our society as we focus our minds and social; energies on making contact and then (hopefully) seeking to mimic their technology. The social change such a change in perception would make in our society would be huge.

Mission of the page: We need to be welcoming out visitors with regular, polite and helpful, messages from some established "brick and mortar" station. With good information about our culture as a whole which this page will help with.
Secondary mission: To change our perspective to one of hopeless isolation "alone in the universe" to one species amoungst many and the politeness and civility such a position would entail.
