God's Jewish Warriors: Settlements

The U.S. claims Jewish settlements are an obstacle to peace, but continues to give Israel generous foreign aid.

Taking over (occupying) a people leads to social unrest. For example; In the United States we had something called "Slave Owners", they not only beat and killed thier slaves they also fought a war to keep them (and thier slaves fought for them ... so this isn't an exact comparison). As it is a little power seems to corrupt awfully quick while absolute power seems to corrupt almost everyone absolutely... to follow a small section of society that is following Biblical Law that is not based in the Rabbinical teachings of 'Love thy neighbour as thyself' ... and instead follow a policy that involves doing what was done to the Jews of World War 2 (holocaust)... is absurd.

Rabbi Brant Rosen
Quote: "Like last time, I know many in the Jewish community will say it is unseemly of me to criticize Israel this way while Israelis live in fear of Qassam fire out of Gaza. I know there are those who believe that by writing these words, I’m turning my back on my own people in their time of need. But I know in my heart that my outrage at Israel’s actions goes hand in hand with compassion for Israelis – particularly those who know that their leaders’ devotion to the sword is leading them into the abyss.

Continuing with settlements CAN'T lead to peace (besides being against international law). If you are for settlements in an area you have occupied then you are FOR war. It's that simple. If you are for war, this is your future...

1. Lt. Col. Daniel Davis: Commanders Sending False Impressions of Afghan War: - Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis recently criticized top military brass, including retired Gen. David Petraeus, saying they have misled Congress and the American people about progress in the war in Afghanistan. Margaret Warner speaks with Davis about his whistleblowing, why he went public and what his future may hold in the military.

2. Confessions of an Iraq War Whistleblower: The State Department fired me for telling the truth about US failures in Iraq. Here's why I don't regret it. What I saw while serving the State Department at a forward operating base in Iraq was, however, different. There, the space between what we were doing (the eye-watering waste and mismanagement) and what we were saying (the endless claims of success and progress) was filled with numb soldiers and devastated Iraqis, not scaredy-cat bureaucrats. That was too much for even a well-seasoned cubicle warrior like me to ignore, and so I wrote a book about it, We Meant Well: How I Helped Lose the War for the Hearts and Minds of the Iraqi People. I was on the spot to see it all happen, leading two Provincial Reconstruction Teams in rural Iraq while taking part up close and personal in what the US government was doing to, not for, Iraqis. Originally, I imagined that my book's subtitle would be "Lessons for Afghanistan," since I was hoping the same mistakes would not be endlessly repeated there. Sometimes being right doesn't solve a damn thing.

Warning To Israelites ... pick carefully which allies you listen to and follow...

To #Israel people against #Muslims... R U Sure U got Your enemy right?... Why does no one remember that the Nazi's under Hitler were Christians? All they want to do is take over Israel... eventually.

In Matthew 24:14, the Bible says that the Gospel (the news about Jesus and his offer of salvation and eternal life) will be preached throughout the world. The Bible also says that sometime after this happens, the end will come. The Bible has been preached throughout the world for a long time. But now, with the increasing worldwide availability of television and the Internet, there is greater potential for the Gospel to be preached to everyone, everywhere. - Matthew 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Luke 21:20-33 (King James Version): "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away."

All of the following quotes are taken as proof of Jesus's return in the readers lifetime (which is why Christians have been freaking out throughout the ages! - especially during millenniums - Why does no one remember that the Nazi's under Hitler were Christians? And guess where the Nazis ended up!)

1 Cor 7:29: The appointed time has grown very short; from now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none.

1 Cor 7:31: For the form of this world is passing away.

Phil 4:5: The Lord is coming soon.

1 Thess 4:15: We who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord.

At a moments notice a strongly Christian nation can freak out and attack without proof. Or at least, that's how how it seems i.e. Dick Cheney: The Ultimate Laissez-Faire Capitalist?

Laziness brings on deep sleep,
And the shiftless man goes hungry.
Proverbs 19:15

"The wise man has eyes in his head,
while the fool walks in the darkness."
Ecclesiastes 6:7

There IS a future for peace is that is the goal...

Palestinians and Jews working together, in the present and historically, is not something you hear allot about in the media; Anna Baltzer and Mustafa Barghouti advocate a non-violent approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in this complete, unedited interview...

Part 2 of Anna Baltzer & Mustafa Barghouti interview:

'The US is too biased to one side and this isn't good for Israel' A pro-Israel Lobby you don't hear about in the media...

Interview: Jeremy Ben-Ami, the president of the pro-Israel lobby J Street, discusses the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Palestine's application for full U.N. membership....

Israel came into being by a UN mandate so its only fair that the Palestinians do too. Ben Ami is taking a mainstream approach as that's necessary for his political position (Israel on one side and a right-wing Obama administration on the other)

From the Washington Post: Ben-Ami provides an arsenal of logistical and moral arguments stressing that not only is Israel’s occupation over another people a threat to the Zionist dream and American interests in the region, but that it also runs counter to rabbinic values — indeed, even to the very letter of Israel’s Declaration of Independence, which promises equality to all, regardless of race, religion or gender. In short, he tells us that Israel is on the brink of becoming an “apartheid state” and losing its status as a moral beacon to the Jewish people and the safe and democratic haven its pioneers intended it to be. Ben-Ami argues that by taking a radically conciliatory pro-peace position today instead of the stance represented by the conservative AIPAC, the American Jewish community would serve Israel’s interests far better — paradoxically, just as the radically militant policy pursued by his father, Yitshaq (whom Ben-Ami calls a “terrorist”), in Israel’s early days was exactly what was needed in order to ensure its creation: At the time, his father’s brand of Zionism ran counter to what was considered acceptable by the Jewish community. Ben-Ami says that today’s Jewish voice in America should clearly call for an active American intervention in the Middle East that will bring about the end of occupation and the establishment of a Palestinian state. How can this be done? He suggests that the American president, backed by the international community, must present a take-it-or-leave-it political package to the two sides. The basis already exists for this in various peace initiatives that call for making the pre-1967 armistice line a border between the two states and allowing for a one-to-one exchange of territory for reasons to do with security or demography. The resulting refugee problem could be addressed in any number of ways, including compensation, family reunification schemes and resettlement. Most of these plans also call for making Jerusalem a joint capital for the two states. President Clinton proposed a formula for sharing the city by having Arab neighborhoods come under Arab sovereignty, and Jewish neighborhoods under Jewish sovereignty.
