GOP Treason Tactics: Documenting Some Of The Obstruction Of Justice Attempts By The Republicans Using Memos (Such As the Nunes Memo)

Background:
1. Impeaching The Trump Administration For Obstruction Of Justice Part 2 - The Comey Memo
2. Indicting Fox News For Obstruction Of Justice
3. The Fall Of America 2: Explaining Trump Asking Comey For A Loyalty Oath As Trump's Inner African Dictator (GOP's "Loyalty Oaths" & Treasonous Tendencies Are Preventing Them From Impeaching Trump)
4. Proofs That Trump Is Nothing But A Dictator, And Tyrant, At Heart

This post brings together information that paves the way for seeing the whole of the GOP apparatus, from its politicians to its main media channel (Fox News) as traitors to the Constitution, seeking to obstruct justice with a major disinformation campaign designed to sell - a badly thought out - set of lies to the American people. The following video provides a great introduction to GOP's Nazi like behavior...

The Actual State of Our Union | January 31, 2018 Act 1 | Full Frontal on TBS - In case you were blinded by the sheer light of Donald Trump's presidential tone last night, we've got the actual state of the union covered.

Notes:

This time last year the media was consoling everyone with the theory that "checks and balances" would keep any excessive Trump lies and corruption at bay...

Problem was, the Founders didn't imagine that the whole party would defy the Constitution and thier oaths to basic morality and truth to support Trump in treason (at least that's what the media keeps telling us)

Instead of EVEN LOOKING AT any abuse of power by the Trump Administration, the Republicans went the other way...

i.e....

As part of this campaign to undermine anyone investigating Trump the GOP organized an extremely sophisticated and inept disinformation campaign...

Nunes wrote a memo that teh DOJ told him NOT to realse...

And the funny part is that David Nunes had to recuse himself because of personal involvement so supporting his memo is obstruction of justice of the worst kind by ALL Republicans!...

Best part of the whole attempt to subvert justice by hindering an investigation for Trump was that Nunes didn't even use all the intelligence on the matter i.e. the memo was purely a publicity stunt for the stupid (who happened to be FoxGOp viewers/listens)...

House Republican used a bullshit excuse to release this highly compromised and useless memo showing complicity in the disinformation campaign insiders to this scandal are pushing...

Or as Stephen Colbert put it...

How The House Intel Committee Landed On 'No Collusion'

Screenshot from Full Frontal continued...

Turns out the Russians and the Republicans may be working closer together than we realize

(Russia helps them here too!)

Ultmately, it comes down to the simple reality for all fact based consumers that the rpeublcians are openly trying to shut down an investigation where ALL the evidence points to coverup and treason of some sort which shows what the republicans are made of.

America first....

The Following are news segments outlining how obvious this Nunes Memo con by the GOP is making it the perfect example of Obstruction Of Justice done by the GOP and Fox News to deceive the American people...

First off, the Nunes memo was a dud...

Nunes memo stunt blows up in GOP's face Rachel Maddow shows how key claims in the Nunes memo didn't even survive the

The authors didn't seem to understand what they had even written...

Nunes memo's big reveal is not what its authors thought The memo's proponents say it shows an anti-Trump conspiracy, but it actually debunks one of their main Russia probe talking points.

Ultimately what they have proven is the the GOP are willing to defy all thier oaths of office in favor of outright obstruction of justice. That they do it in a stupid manner just makes it easier to catch while making their evil intent apparent and obvious.

By defying the justice department to release the - ridiculous - Nunes memo and blocking the Democrats memo, Trump proved his intentions were not pro-transparency but anti-democratic...

Trump will not release Democrats’ response to Nunes memo Trump will not release the Democratic memo. He requested for changes to be made before it can be released.

To top it off, the Republicans didn't even have the sense to release the Democrats memo (probably because thier own memo was an obvious con) and thus we know that disinformation - i.e. obstruction of justice - IS thier primary motive!

Trump rejects Democratic rebuttal of Nunes, exposes GOP memo game Rep. Jim Himes talks with Rachel Maddow about Donald Trump's rejection of the Democratic rebuttal to the Nunes memo.

All in all, the case to impeach Trump for Obstruction of Justice is now clear...

Tribe: Trump 'orchestrating a massive cover-up' worse than Nixon Harvard impeachment expert Laurence Tribe says we are seeing a “slow-motion constitutional crisis” and calls the White House “cover-up more serious than that of Richard Nixon.” Tribe also explains why firing FBI official Andrew McCabe builds a “strong case for obstruction of justice.”

So is Paul Ryan REALLY protecting civil liberties here with this obvious con by the GOP? Obviously not...

What the Nunes memo is really about Paul Ryan says Republicans just want to protect civil liberties. But Trump is telling friends the memo could undermine the Russia probe.

So, what is Paul Ryan's motivation? A Koch inspired policy attack that would be bad for the country and trump but not them?...

Paul Ryan: Portrait in Courage | Full Frontal with Samantha Bee | TBS - Did you know that handsome people can be bad, too? We've got just the Paul Ryan to prove it.

As the Koch stooge Grover Norquist (who wants to drown the constitutional government in a bathtub) put it...

Leading this con in selling a poorly thought out series of lies to the American people is Fox news and Hannity...

Did Hannity convince Trump to "release the memo"? The Fox News host has been aggressively hyping "one of the biggest scandals in American history" and, reportedly, advising the president.

Clearly, the tactic was a Nazi style disinformation campaign...

Brian Stelter: Hannity used the Nunes memo to "sow doubt and division" about the Russia investigation Stelter: "This campaign of confusion is good for Hannity ... and good for Trump, as well. But it's bad for the country"

Republicans and Fox news and clearly in bed together in their obstruction of justice charades...

Sen. Ron Johnson and Rep. Devin Nunes are feeding the Fox News conspiracy pipeline Congressional Republicans team up with a credulous right-wing media to undermine the FBI’s Trump investigation

candals” that have powered conservative media coverage of the FBI’s Trump investigation: Senate homeland security committee chair Ron Johnson (R-WI) and House intelligence committee chair Devin Nunes (R-CA). Both have been repeatedly caught lying and ginning up controversy where there is none, and both have had phenomenal success in propagating falsehoods through conservative media outlets that don’t care whether what they report is true or not.
Late last month, Johnson went on Fox News to talk about “corruption at the highest levels of the FBI” as evidenced by a text message conversation between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that referenced a “secret society” -- presumably a cabal of powerful individuals plotting to illegitimately tar Trump’s presidency. The “secret society” talking point quickly permeated conservative media and became a focal point of outrage.
A couple of days later, the truth about the “secret society” text came out -- it was an obvious joke between the two officials. There was no secret society, and Johnson backpedaled by acknowledging the “real possibility” that the supposedly nefarious text message he’d highlighted as proof of a conspiracy just days earlier might, in fact, be nothing more than a gag.
Just a couple of weeks after that, Johnson was at it again. His committee released an “interim report” on the FBI’s investigation of the Clinton email scandal that once again highlighted specific texts between Strzok and Page. Among them was a September 2, 2016, text from Page regarding the creation of talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey. Page wrote that then-President Barack Obama “wants to know everything we’re doing.” According to the report, “This text raises additional questions about the type and extent of President Obama’s personal involvement in the Clinton email scandal and the FBI investigation of it.”

Fueled by a credulous Fox News write-up of Johnson’s report, the text message shot like an electrical current through the conservative media, which leaped on Johnson’s suggestion that Obama might have meddled with the FBI’s investigation into Clinton. The president himself got in on the dissemination, tweetingthat the “NEW FBI TEXTS ARE BOMBSHELLS” not long after his favorite Fox News morning program ran a segment on the report.

Fox News is trying to protect the Republicans in their treasonous cons...

Alternet: GOP Hypocrisy Knows No Bounds The party that launched partisan probes for decades now claims to be horrified.

It's been 72 hours or so since the Devin Nunes Memo was released, and it's clear that despite wall-to-wall coverage, the entire spectacle changed nothing. For Fox News pundits and their associates in the GOP, it proves there was a conspiracy among FBI and Department of Justice leadership to destroy Donald Trump. For everyone else, it shows that the rationale for the Russia investigation was a legitimate line of inquiry.
Sean Hannity said that this memo makes clear that charges must be dropped against Paul Manafort and Michael Flynn -- for some reason, even though the latter has already pleaded guilty to a crime. Donald Trump Jr. ranted inanely that Democrats were both McCarthyites and "commies," which is a neat trick. He also said something truly reckless:
There is a little bit of sweet revenge in it for me and certainly probably the family in a sense that if they wouldn't have done this, this stuff would be going on. This would be going on at the highest levels of government. They'd be continuing doing it to my father, trying to undermine his actions.
And here we all thought the president's decision to declassify the memo was all in the interest of transparency and national security.
...
Ryan was the ultimate enabler of this farce, signing off on the Nunes crusade, and Gowdy is the guy who read the underlying FISA warrant application documents on which the memo was based. So nobody should get too excited about their supposed "independence" on this. They were primary facilitators.
It's true that a few others have joined that chorus, signaling that at least a handful of Republicans don't want to be associated with the notion that this memo "vindicates" the president. (Notably, Attorney General Jeff Sessions was not among them.)
Chairman Nunes is undeterred. Axios reported on Sunday:
The House Intelligence chair and his team have told members and associates they've found other examples of politically motivated "wrongdoing" across various agencies, including the FBI, the broader Justice Department, and the State Department . . . Republicans close to Nunes say there could be as many as five additional memos or reports of "wrongdoing."
i.e. there is a whole campaign of half assed fake memos o come to try and obstruct justice for trump!

Other notable attempts of Obstruction of Justice...

Senator Grassley has turned out to be one of the biggest obstructors of all (actually hiding information from the people he is supposed to represent!)...

Blumenthal: Make Trump Jr, Fusion GPS testimony transcript public Senator Richard Blumenthal talks with Rachel Maddow about the growing pressure on Senate Judiciary chair Chuck Grassley to release the Fusion GPS testimony transcript to the public, as well as that of Donald Trump Jr. Duration: 9:22

Notes:

Notice, Congress is harassing the people researching the President to keep him straight - EXACTLY what we would expect in a dictatorship! (It's like Trump trying to silence a book about him)...

This is the most bullsh*t excuse one could come up with. This information NOW has to be protected to avoid tainting the memory of witnesses but if he had talked for 10 hours in public six months ago, that OK...

As Maddow puts it, that TWO arguments (a sure sign Grassley is lying)...

Another walk-through how Grassley and Lindsey Graham are acting like tyrants...

Republicans, compliant FBI make progress undermining Russia probe Rachel Maddow looks at how Republican interest in investigating Russia's intrusion in the 2016 election has turned over the course of the past year to an interest in undermining that investigation, and how the FBI has become more compliant as Trump and Republicans have stepped up attacks. Duration: 22:42

Step by step:

Rather than investigate the claims about Trump the GOP wants to go after a person FOR investigating Trump in the first place (the very opposite of transparency and rule of law)...

Biggest indication that this is the GOP being compliant to thier 'dear leader' is that Trump himself asked GOP to stop the inquiry ...

Then Fox News, who Trump keeps stealing lies from for himself, jumps in with ideas to obstruct justice some more...

Investigating an investigator rather than the charges (its like going after a journalist for reporting the truth). The ultimate proof of treason...

Everyone in the GOP is involved in the obstruction...

Is the GOP's public pressure, instigated by Trump, to squash an independent investigation into Trump, working?

Moment Of Zen...

Republicans tried to gut the Ethics committee so they could continue with thier betrayal of the American people with corruption and other sorts of criminal acts. (they've probably succeeded by now)
