Rush Limbaugh was called the leader of the "conservative movement". He will always be important to the "conservative movement" (or "greatest con of the millennium"... last millennium that honor went to the Roman Catholic Church) because he represents the heart and soul of the Republican Party (new GOP post Nixon).

In some ways America is a very strange country. Sex misdemeanors have serious consequences for the famous while actual crimes by the same people is defended by "pundits" with profiles of mad criminal geniuses straight out of a Batman movie.
