Useful Bailout Links and Congress Video Clips

This post contains 3 links I consider to be very important. These pages are constantly being updated with each new development on the TARP front. So if you want to keep track of where the money is going these are the links to bookmark.

Also, keep in mind that the whole TARP program was approved by Congress and the Senate in October of 2008. The bill grants $700 Billion to stabilize the financial system. As of today there is still about $400 billion that the bill still allows to be distributed. As long as this bill is law that money will be given out eventually. So will weird, inappropriate bonuses.

From NOW on pbs.org:The Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) —the $700 billion bill passed and signed in October to help restore stability to the country's financial system —has so far invested $295.2 billion in American companies. According to ProPublica, 355 financial institutions have so far received bailout funds. (read more)
