Bernie Sanders Is As Much Of A Socialist As Jesus Was! Only Difference Is Bernie Can't Pull Of Miracles (That We Know Of)

It's true that he calls himself a "socialist" but that is more in line with Fox News definitions of socialist, i.e. helping non-rich the people. Something which Jesus pushes, so it is the Christian path as well. Not to mention helping "we the people" is Constitutional, while the GOP way is not.

On Topic - Political Parties - The Socialist Party  - Stephen knows that if Socialists had their druthers, no one would own their own druthers. (3:43)

The kind of socialist that people assume Fox News/GOP is referring to is the top down, one person in charge, sort of structure that is part of the Military (as it is a Military) and the GOP, which claims to be a democratic political party, but it is clearly not. (loyalty oaths to a political leader is the very opposite of freedom... by comparison: all the Nazi's swore oaths to Hitler).

Simple evidence that if the right calls Bernie a communist or a socialist, what they mean is is that Bernie is like Jesus i.e. using how Christian describe Christianity, the GOP is the anti-Jesus party or kinda like an Anti-Christ group based on party platform.

Even the Pope opposes the GOP (not to mention all the Christian opposition to Paul Ryan's barbaric anti-christ like plan);

Pope Francis: Capitalism is “a new tyranny”: "The culture of prosperity deadens us," the pope writes in a document laying out the platform for his papacy

How can it be that it is not a news item when an elderly homeless person dies of exposure, but it is news when the stock market loses two points? This is a case of exclusion. Can we continue to stand by when food is thrown away while people are starving? This is a case of inequality. Today everything comes under the laws of competition and the survival of the fittest, where the powerful feed upon the powerless. As a consequence, masses of people find themselves excluded and marginalized: without work, without possibilities, without any means of escape.
In this context, some people continue to defend trickle-down theories which assume that economic growth, encouraged by a free market, will inevitably succeed in bringing about greater justice and inclusiveness in the world. This opinion, which has never been confirmed by the facts, expresses a crude and naïve trust in the goodness of those wielding economic power and in the sacralized workings of the prevailing economic system. Meanwhile, the excluded are still waiting.

POPE FRANCIS’S CHALLENGE TO GLOBAL CAPITALISM
A week after Pope Francis released his first papal exhortation, the innocuously named “Joy of the Gospel,” it is still causing ruptures. Rush Limbaugh dismissed it as “pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the Pope.” At least one Roman Catholic group demanded that Limbaughapologize and retract his remarks, but that seems unlikely. And meanwhile, some conservative economic commentators, while stopping short of echoing Limbaugh’s words, have accused the Pope of misrepresenting global capitalism, and ignoring its role in wealth creation.

This one is an interesting one as while slavery is in the New Testament, there isn't anything about gays except 'obeying the old laws' by which measure all Christians are sinners and are sinners all the time as almost nothing of the Book of Leviticus is being followed;

Laws of The Book Of Leviticus;

Deuteronomy 22:11 Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.

Leviticus 19:19 "'Keep my decrees. "'Do not mate different kinds of animals. "'Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. "'Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.

Leviticus 19:27 “‘Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard.

Leviticus 5:2 "'Or if a person touches anything ceremonially unclean--whether the carcasses of unclean wild animals or of unclean livestock or of unclean creatures that move along the ground--even though he is unaware of it, he has become unclean and is guilty

Leviticus 11:7 And the pig, though it has a split hoof completely divided, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you.

Leviticus 11:9 "'Of all the creatures living in the water of the seas and the streams, you may eat any that have fins and scales.

Deuteronomy 22:9 Do not plant two kinds of seed in your vineyard; if you do, not only the crops you plant but also the fruit of the vineyard will be defiled

Leviticus 25:44-46 However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you.  You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land.  You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance.  You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way.
