Commentary On Bill O Reilly's Lies In "Fighting to Win Against ISIS" - Part 1

Fighting to Win Against ISIS - Sep. 15, 2014 - 6:28 - Talking Points 9/15

WSJ is owned by Rupert Murdoch & given how many people are helping Traitor Inc. (my pet name for GOP/FoxNews) in NBC, this poll can't be trusted. Not to mention the fact that the media can swing polls in any direction they wish, given enough preparation time.

Lets not beat around the bush here. When Bill says 'Obama is not being assertive in using US power', he literally means Obama isn't launching random wars that he himself is starting like Dick Cheney did with his Invasion of Iraq for Oil, was that the right thing to do? No. Was that being assertive? Yes. ... but the best part...

FOX NEWS ARGUES FOR SPENDING ON WAR AS A "STIMULUS" EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO REASON FOR WAR! (so creating a reason for war is right up their alley)

The New Deal - Jonathan Chait Jonathan Chait believes the New Deal was successful because it eased people's misery.  (05:21):
Notice, above, that Fox News doesn't have a problem with spending for war JUST spending on the American people.

Beheading of some journalist is the wrong reason to go to war. It''s a hypocritical reason to be precise. Journalists died in Syria as well (Americans are murdered abroad ALL THE TIME). The only difference is that the American public didn't get to see them die on video.

I LOVE this part. It's basically saying, 'yes, we know you know this dud is bought but I'm gonna use him anyways because I have a viewership of 87 million world wide and you have a few dozen at most (i.e. Bill's position is that as long as he can get away with outright lies, he will)

This is the guy Bill presents as the "National Media"...
Picture
This guy LITERALLY betrayed the meaning of Journalism & Reporting when he pretended Ron Paul didn't almost win the straw poll as did the Fox News echo chamber... and now this same guy is being used to back up Bill's lies. Anyways, he's featured in this "expose"...

This one shows that in any particular circumstance the whole media (MSNBC, CNN & FOXNEWS) can function as a GOP/Fox News/ "Conservative" echo chamber, in this case it was to pretend a candidate didn't exist (one of the ways the media manipulates public opinion & thus "polls")...

Terrorism is a tactic. It can't be made war on. Either Bill is lying here or he is extremely illiterate, uneducated... and just plain dumb. But to help him put it in perspective;

10 worst examples of Christian or far-right terrorism - Conservatives claim that all terrorists are Muslim, but most violent attacks in the US are carried out by white men

Non-Muslims Carried Out More than 90% of All Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Soil

So Bill specifically wants war declared on those from a Muslim background who use terror tactics, not non-Muslims. Certainly explains why everyone loves Peter King so much!

Who is Peter King?

Article 1 on Peter King:
But according to experts in counterterrorism law, if the tough-on-terror policies King trumpets today had taken effect a few decades earlier, King himself might have been subject to prosecution. Over parts of three decades, from his days as an aspiring politician in Long Island through his early years in Congress, King was one of the nation's most outspoken supporters of the Irish Republican Army and a prolific fundraiser for the Irish Northern Aid Committee (NorAid), allegedly the IRA's American fundraising arm. The IRA waged a paramilitary campaign against the British presence in Northern Ireland for decades before peace accords were signed in 1998. Part of that effort included bombings and shootings that resulted in civilian deaths in England and Northern Ireland. During the period of King's involvement, the US government accused both NorAid and the IRA of links to terrorism.

Article 2 on Peter King"The British government is a murder machine," King said. He described the IRA, which mastered the car bomb as an instrument of urban terror, as a "legitimate force." And he compared Gerry Adams, the leader of Sinn Fein, the IRA's political wing, to George Washington.

STEPHEN COLBERT ON PETER KING; As an IRA supporter, Peter King understands the violent radicalism among American Muslims.

"Nazi" is Bill's pet name for everyone he doesn't like, so this is meaningless & BTW ...

For this guy war is like marriage. Which says it all. Any military engagement with this guy in charge will probably last forever (hey, isn't Bill saying we should never have taken troops out of Iraq... so Bill is saying we should have staying in Iraq forever? Doesn't that mean he is implicitly saying that Dick Cheney & George Bush lied about the duration of the Iraq war from the start?

Do we need more proof that Dick Cheney lied about Iraq being a short war and Dick Cheney genuinely INTENDED to stay in Iraq forever, watch the following video from 1994 (when Dick Cheney did NOT want to stay in Iraq forever)

Cheney in 1994 on Iraq

He says that like that's a negative point about Obama! Reminds me of this word...

The Word - Perspective: There's nothing wrong with the number 2,000. Hell, five years ago we were celebrating it.  (3:41) {Compare to the negative spin on the 4 deaths in Benghazi - mind blowing isn't it?}
Picture
This is intentional slander against all Muslims as Bill & his cohorts have been doing for years outlined here.
Picture
Mr. Obama does not like to use the "Islamic" word in the same way you (Bill) do not like to use the "Christian word" (when your goal is NOT to smear a religion or spread fear, misinformation, slander etc.), it looks bad to the majority practitioner s of that religion not involved AND is disrespectful. Respect is something Bill doesn't care about, lies is his thing;

In the Name of the Fodder: The Fox News rapid-response team distinguishes violence in the name of a religion from the practitioners of that religion -- as long as it's Christianity.  (05:17) ...
Picture
This has to be the stupidest idea I even heard, though right in line with Bill's smear campaign against Muslims. IN any case the GOP led Congress ducked out of their responsibility as fast as they could and now they are seeking reelection.
Picture
A wrong reason to go to war will always be a wrong reason no matter how well the Corporate Media can spin it to rile people up to make them go to war. This isn't the first time I've seen them do this. They did it with Iraq but ISIS is a result of their invasion and as such even I have to support "war" against them. BTW, anyone notice how WW1 & WW2 were real wars where we were all in REAL danger but this "war" is more like a counter terrorism operation than a war?
