{Re-Print} Barack Obama VS Mitt Romney, Bush, Cheney & Other Such Corporations/People...

VIDEO: Here is what Obama is saying.

But What is Mitt Romney's Saying? A New Hampshire surrogate for Mitt Romney said at a local political event that it's evident he will be the Republican presidential nominee and suggested that "beliefs and principles" should not be the deciding factor for voters. State Sen. Gary Lambert said the most important thing is to nominate somebody who can defeat President Obama. "I don't get it. This is not about picking a favorite, it's not about picking someone you like," Lambert said. "It's not about picking someone even with your own beliefs and principles. This is about picking a person who can beat Barack Obama, period." Read more.

Creating jobs is one of the big concerns of today's debate... does Mitt Romney have the credentials for country-wide job creation?

VIDEO: Mitt Romney says President Obama, Newt Gingrich and Gov. Rick Perry are putting free enterprise "on trial."...

As Fareed Zakaria explains:

Romney’s real problem Instead, a second line of attack has been gaining traction against Romney – that of Romney as job-killer or Romney as the private equity guy, who buys companies, hollows them out and outsources jobs. Now it is striking that this attack is coming in a Republican presidential primary. After all, what Romney did while at Bain Capital was classic capitalist “creative destruction.” He took over businesses and tried to make them more productive and efficient. To do so, he often had to shed jobs. Republicans should be celebrating Romney’s prior work as an example of how the market functions – driving out inefficiency, generating productivity and creating a lean, mean capitalist machine.

The keywords are, "lean, mean capitalist machine."

In other words...

In the face of that seething rhetoric, Romney’s defense of his background in private equity has been approximately this: an attack on Bain is an attack on American free enterprise. That’s a plausible enough line for a Republican primary — a contest fought among voters who basically trust the market economy. But Romney has grounded his whole campaign on the claim that he understands how to create jobs and spur investment. And now his Republican opponents are slashing away at that political identity, a task made easier by the fact that Romney has typically spoken about his business experience in only the vaguest of terms. Read more.

Some writers don't seem to get it...

You can blame Mitt Romney, but not for Bain Capital Most important, Bain Capital is not now, nor has it ever been, some kind of Gordon Gekko-like, fire-breathing corporate raider that slashed and burned companies, immolating jobs wherever they appear in its path The story of the private equity business is somewhat more complicated. Almost by definition, a private equity investment is made with the hope of improving the profitability of the “portfolio company,” as it is known in the parlance. Often, this means replacing management or reducing unnecessary headcount – firing people. While no one likes seeing jobs disappear, eliminating unnecessary overhead and even entire divisions if they cannot be made sufficiently profitable is at the heart of a successful economy — the process Joseph Schumpeter famously described as “creative destruction.” How strange for conservatives like Newt Gingrich and Perry to be questioning the core of free market economics.
No one is saying that Bain was a job-killing dragon (except maybe Colbert below). We are just pointing out, accurately I might add, that laying claim to being a great or even good job creator is not something that Mitt Romney can do. At least not in the Presidential elections. What's the clincher? Romney can't even prove the measly 100,000 "net jobs" he claims to have added over the years...

"Mitt Romney says he created 100,000 jobs while at Bain Capital. Anderson Cooper is Keeping Them Honest."

By Comparison...

From The Washington Post: When we last looked at one of Romney’s claims about Obama’s job record, his campaign inflated the job-loss total by assigning the entire month of January — when 820,000 jobs were lost — to Obama’s term, even though he took office Jan. 20. We are pleased to see that the campaign no longer does this, and instead starts the count in February. But is this fair? An additional 2.2 million jobs were lost in February, March and April, before much of Obama’s stimulus could take effect. (He signed it into law Feb. 18). The recession did not officially come to an end until June 2009. Since that point, 1.2 million jobs have been created — which is still pretty anemic, but it is not a negative number. Romney also claims to have created more than 100,000 jobs as a business consultant. Fehrnstrom says the 100,000 figure stems from the growth in jobs from three companies that Romney helped to start or grow while at Bain Capital: Staples (a gain of 89,000 jobs), The Sports Authority (15,000 jobs), and Domino’s (7,900 jobs). This tally obviously does not include job losses from other companies with which Bain Capital was involved — and are based on current employment figures, not the period when Romney worked at Bain. (Indeed, Romney made his comments in response to a former employee of American Pad & Paper Co. who says he lost his job after Bain Capital took it private.) As we have explored before, we can neither prove nor disprove Romney’s previous statement that “tens of thousands of jobs net-net were created.”

Notice how Romney is described about 2 minutes and 30 seconds into this video...

As Stephen Colbert explains...

'he chops up companies' ... does that remind you of any movie? ...

"Edward is a rich, ruthless businessman who specializes in taking over companies and then selling them off piece by piece."

Romney's plan thus far?

Taxes are increased on the poor/middle-class and decreased on the wealthy...

[Note: This is NOT class warfare. Class warfare is when you increase taxes on the wealthy and decrease it on the poor - This art is called "re-framing" which is public knowledge on how the GOP operates = click here for proof (requires lots of reading, video watching and courage though!(If your Republican)]

Moment Of Zen On Mitt Romney's Business "Experience"...

Mitt Romney touts his experience at Bain Capital as a strength, but not the experience with leveraged buyouts.

Notice at approx 2 min 50 sec = Bain capital made a huge profit AND steered the company into bankruptcy... if you destroy a company to make money how can you trust that person with the economy of a country? I'm sure destroying the US economy (or even the global economy) will be profitable to some people.... do you really want to hand the reins of the presidency to a person who comes from the greed and lack of compassion side of capitalism? - They(Bain Capital) don't even have to use thier own money to destroy a company AND make money off of that!!!!!!

*******
BTW, People keep cracking that Teleprompter joke about Obama, I got bad news for ya'll, Romney needs a Teleprompter, otherwise he begins to sounds kinda rude...

The key to avoid using a Teleprompter is to memorize the same speech patterns and repeat them over and over and over and over and over and over as Mitt Romney doe above.

Republicans, Leukemia Team Up To Repeal Health Care Law: "If anyone's angrier than Republicans that children can't be denied for having preexisting conditions, it's leukemia."

Here's a tribute to a few Republican senators who find comfort and advantage in invoking the heroes of 9/11 but refuse to give them health care.

Republicans Block 9/11 Health Care Bill: Republican senators refuse to vote on the 9/11 health care bill until wealthy Americans receive an engraved notification that their taxes won't go up.

It's the GOP that has been promoting the foundation of the treasonous Patriot Act and the NDAA Bill, which Obama was too pussy to avoid. That's normal.

This is how the Democrats function....

Stephen knows that when someone misbehaves, it's natural to assume that person is a Democrat.

For example; If it was the Republicans dealing with the following crap the guy would be on trial or in prison, not chillin in his house...

It's hard to believe Dick Cheney had the time to command a secret lawless assassination squad with all the secret lawless torture. (02:10)...

Apparently Dick Cheney is starting his own prison business...

"A grand jury in south Texas indicted Mr Cheney and Alberto Gonzales, the former Attorney General, on state charges that they blocked an investigation into the mistreatment of prisoners. The indictment cites a "money trail" relating to Mr Cheney's financial stake in prison-related businesses, including the Vanguard Group, which has an interest in privately-run federal jails in the region. According to a grand jury in Willacy County, Mr Cheney is "is "profiteering from depriving human beings of their liberty".

Basically, there has been a strange societal change going on...
"Corporations are running many Americans prisons, but will they put profits before prisoners?"

Or as Mitt Romney put it, "Corporations Are People My Friend."

As a result of these "people", American society now looks like this...
America's prison population from GOOD Magazine showing U.S. incarceration rates per 100,000 over time.

The chart below shows the number of prison inmates per capita in the United States compared with other major countries. The incarceration rate in the United States is more than three times that of Iran, six times that of China, and ten times that of Japan. (Source: The Economist via blogs.cfr.org/lindsay)

Turns out Dick Cheney has been having fun!...

The Secret Torture Memo Cheney Didn't Want You To See

In 2006, Philip Zelikow, an adviser to then-Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, wrote a secret memo warning his colleagues that many of the Bush administration's enhanced interrogation techniques were likely illegal. Zelikow didn't speak publicly about the memo—the smoking gun that the Bush administration was warned by its own staff about legal problems with its interrogation program—until 2009, when he revealed its existence in a blog post for Foreign PolicyBut when Zelikow testified to Congress about his warning, his classified memo was withheld, and two unclassified documents were released in its stead. Zelikow told Mother Jones in 2009 that Vice President Dick Cheney's office had attempted to destroy any evidence of the classified memo, but that some copies might survive in the State Department's archives.
It appears that Zelikow was right about the archives: the secret memo, which he called a "direct assault on [the Bush Justice Department's] interpretation of American law," was finally released by the State Department on Tuesday, three years after the National Security Archive and WIRED reporter Spencer Ackerman (then at the Washington Independent) first requested it under the Freedom of Information Act.

But that's not all Cheney has been up to... apparently he lied about Iraq as well!
Dick Cheney says that Iraq will put us in a quagmire
Some people may ask, well... Obama is no better... he left Guantanamo open! Yes but...
The following video gives you an idea of what happened in 2009....
 Tuesday July 21, 2009

Investigating prisoner abuse will be a political food fight, and that is messier than torture.

An news article explains what happened with Guantanamo...
The responsibility lies not so much with the White House but with Congress, which has thwarted President Barack Obama's plans to close the detention center, which the Bush administration opened on January 11, 2002 with 20 captives. Congress has used its spending oversight authority both to forbid the White House from financing trials of Guantánamo captives on U.S. soil and to block the acquisition of a state prison in Illinois to hold captives currently held in Cuba who would not be put on trial - a sort of Guantánamo North. The current defense bill now before Congress not only reinforces these restrictions but moves to mandate military detention for most future al Qaeda cases unless the president signs a waiver. The White House withdrew a veto threat on the eve of likely passage Wednesday, saying the latest language gives the executive enough wiggle room to avoid military custody.

If you want even a little bit of in context reporting nowadays... you have to go to the Daily Show...

Moment Of Zen? (i.e. on spending... do you get it?)...

Why is the GOP and thier pawn Paul Ryan so interested in cutting money from everything BUT the military? Obviously because they want war.

Check out the sham "stimulus" debate in 2009...
When trying to convince people not to do a Stimulus... this was the argument put forward by the Republican National Committee and Fox News i.e. spending leads to a depression... but that's not the best part, the best part is that they were argueing that SPENDING ON WAR (NOT ON PEACEFUL ACTIVITIES) leads to recovery (people seem to have forgotten about that crazy "debate"!)...

Explanation: That spending is good for an economy shouldn't be debatable. If you have a business and nobody buys your stuff (i.e. if no spending occurs) you will make no money. This is basic economics, even George Bush wanted people to spend to boost the economy, he just wanted it to be ALL on consumer spending while the Government focuses it's spending on war in Afghanistan and Iraq. The debate should be instead on WHAT FORM OF SPENDING SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT. I support peaceful spending activities (done properly, transparently and efficiently), while the GOP and the Paul Ryan Plan goes the other way.

Does it get worse? Yes.

The GOP's War On Rape Victims In the Military!

Military rape victims urge accountability...

1. "From denying abortion to military rape victims, to aiming for total bans in the states, the GOP's assault continues"

2. Article: "Raped in the military, then raped by Congress"

3. "Legitimate rape" stops pregnancy because "the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down," says McKaskill's GOP opponent

IS BARACK OBAMA BEING... THREATENED ?!?!?!?!?!

This has been documented in mainstream media through a comedy news channel =

Notice what the members of the crowd are shouting, especially at approx 2 mins into the following video: "You are the Anti-Christ"

1. US: Militia members plotted to kill federal officials, prosecutors say
(i.e. spreading rumors to drive Neo Nazi's angry enough to kill on thier own and become "martyrs")

2. "God's Christian Warriors" & The Beginning Of The End For Christianity?

(i.e. Christian Fundamentalism is just as violent as Muslim Fundamentalism - if not more!)

3. Origins of Military Trained Domestic Terrorists...
In has been shown that today's Neo Nazi Soldiers get out and often become dometic terrorists'...

Above video: NeoNazis are identified and STILL allowed into the military (then they wonder how a guy can 'go crazy' and kill a bunch of innocent Afghan civilians including women and children!). These people are in the GOP base. These are the people that they are trying to appeal to AT THIS VERY MOMENT! While Fox news spreads this rhetoric further!

The GOP Republicans have been demonizing anyone who opposes their warfare plans (to the point of demonizing whole segments of the population).
Basic Video Clip Proofs...

1. Bill O'Reilly Defends His Nazi Analogies

2. 24 Hour Nazi Party People

3. Glen Beck's Nazi Tourette's Syndrome

4. Glenn Beck agrees with the CIA... that Osama should attack America!!!! (i.e. Glenn Beck advocates killing US Citizens to get his way)

Despite dodges, Romney, Ryan haunted by extremist record

Rachel Maddow points out the clear political and policy connections between the Romney ticket and the extreme, absolutist anti-abortion movement, and encourages the political media to hold Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to account for their legislative deeds and political associations instead of taking them at their word as they try to distance themselves from their own record...

i.e. they just gave away the fact that they aren't allowed to speak because they are what they are.
