CNN is well known for hiring liars as "contributors" and liars as editors of the news in the background where people can't see what they are up to, so the fact that there is another editor here who can't put two and two together on a basic politics 101 scale shouldn't be a big surprise. This post just continues to document some the useless news people on CNN.
1. Here is an example of a ridiculously shallow analysis (to the point that you have to wonder if this is a coverup or this guy is extremely dumb and uninformed) because conservatives have never stuck to one idea, they only say what they believe will help them win THAT particular fight they are fighting in the moment. Anyone involved in the last few GOP elections would know that rich white men are what Republicans prefer over anything else, including morality or any sort of platform, so these comments show an extreme lack of political and historical awareness. Also, Republicans are well known to be followers of thier leaders no matter what. Its like Chris has never even visited America, as far as his political analysis is concerned, so the question is, why is Chris Cilliza at CNN and who put him there?
CNN's Chris Cillizza isn’t sure if Donald Trump fits in the “moderate lane” or the “conservative lane” Cillizza: “He shattered the lane thing”
CHRIS CILLIZZA: I think we have a tendency to think about things in lanes, oh it’s the moderate lane, it’s the conservative lane. Donald Trump, that doesn't mean the Democratic primary will -- but he shattered-- the evangelicals supporting a guy with Donald Trump's background who said the things Donald Trump has said, he shattered the lane thing. Oh, there's a conservative lane and a moderate lane. Well, I don't know where he fits there.
2. This piece by Media Matters has a full analysis of Chris Cilliza and what a bad political analyst he really is;
