Susan Sarandon Smashes Hillary Clinton On The Nightly Show OR A Look At Bernie Sanders Political Talking Points


A look at an old Nightly Show interview with Susan Sarandon where she does a good job of defending Bernie Sanders. I've added some commentary of my own for laughs and giggles.

A commentary on specific comments;




This is a general statement politicians use to get emotional support from crowds. I'm sure Hitler used a variation of this in German. It's a platitude that says nothing while promising everything.

Oh! Turns out I was wrong, she stole the line from JFK (I notice she stole stuff from my blogs as well, witch): “Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder. What unites us is far greater than what divides us.” - JFK





The reason Susan Sarandon said this is because of her policies and the smears that she, & her Super Pac, did on Bernie Sanders. I'm used to Republican style politics myself but the Democratic side isn't. They swallowed Hillary's lies wholesale as if they were being told to them by thier mother. Well, half of them did. What Hillary is facing is the problem of lying so much during a "democratic" primary that she has lost credibility with much of the base that have open enough minds to think. BTW, I figured out HOW Obama beat her in 2008 (exposed her good);





Now Susan Sarandan points out specific ways Hillary Clinton could prove she's not like a GOP Establishment Republican;




I noticed earthquakes went off here to a ridiculous degree (houses are being damaged)... and no one here seems to know that the earthquakes are because of fracking. I'm beginning to think media in Oklahoma is either bought or so scared of the oil/fracking companies they don't defy them (we already know GOP politicians made it possible for oil companies to get away with damage to properties other than thier own in Bobby Jindals State... could the fracking companies have already been offered a way out of paying any liabilities/damage caused by thier fracking earthquakes? I don't see any 'payments for damage endured during a fracking earthquake' reported on the news. They seem to report earthquake damage like it's a surprise or a work of God rather than company. Ah! Nevermind. I found an article where it seems it's OK for Oklahoma citizens to sue fracking companies for their damaging earthquakes. We haven't got that far as to deny citizen rights for companies. I just get this feeling people here (Oklahoma media) have given up on waiting for Steven Seagall to come save them;







Fracking is offered as a solution by the Democrat Establishment to the oil price hike the Republicans seemed to control (& probably still do since they control most of the wealth). Oil prices HAVE gone down. Not sure if the right choices were made but I am sure the Political Establishment got what they wanted and made allot of money doing it (or about to make money from it).


This is interesting. It shows that, at least amougnst the well read liberals (as opposed to pure corporate media liberals), it's a well known fact that 'Hillary will say anything to get elected' (As Obama put it);

We have on record what Hillary would do. I'm guessing his job is just too well paying and niche based for him to be concerned about the "free trade" policies Hillary has been pushing for decades that sends jobs abroad making a low minimum wage a feasible offer by the political establishment to help their own businesses.


This is a wise statement;





Hillary, with all her GOP like policies, IS a false choice. It's like someone is saying, "just pick someone who will keep the staus quo. It works for us". Or like Obama put it, "Join me and we'll trudge up the hill, slowly" basically saying when she does stuff she will be compromising with GOP Republicans and will give us policies that will harm the people. It's her record. When you say she won't you ignore her record. A record is important you know.

Here Susan Sarandon restates what is written in the Declaration Of Independence and is a fact of history from the French Revolution and onwards and all the way back to Aristotle (at the very least);




I guess she's probably talking about the people in general, but yes, the Declaration of Independence allows for that possibility;
